Anointing of the Sick

The Anointing of the Sick is a Sacrament in the Catholic Church administered to the dying or to those who are seriously ill. It may be given for the recovery of health and for spiritual strength to those undergoing a serious operation or medical treatment. It conveys God’s grace through the power of the Holy Spirit.
